Wayne Randall Sisson, 77, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Clifton Memorial Park, With Rev. Mary Gean Cope officiating. If the weather does not cooperate, the service will be held at First United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Wayne was born on June 12, 1944 in Berkeley, CA. to Fred and Jayne (Grond) Sisson. In 1962, he graduated from Pleasant Hill Highschool. After graduation, he joined the US Army, serving 21 years. On May 16, 1964, he married Judy Darlene Brand. In 1972, the couple welcomed their son, Karl. The family spent some time in Germany during the early years of Wayne's service in the Army. Wayne and his wife, Judy retired to Clifton, Tx, where they have spent the last 9 years. Some of Wayne's hobbies included motorcycles, shooting his guns, and camping. Wayne had obtained his private pilots license and enjoyed flying planes. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Vivian Grond; parents, Fred and Jayne Sisson; and his aunt, Laverne Grond.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Judy of Clifton; son, Karl Sisson of Cleburne; and one grandchild.
