William P. Price, P.E., R.P.L.S., 88, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Lutheran Sunset Ministries.
“Bill” was born to William O. and Imogene Price. He is survived by wife, Deborah; his son, Jim; and brother, John R Price of Georgetown. Bill practiced Civil Engineering and Surveying in the DFW Metroplex, and all over the State of Texas for almost 60 years. He attended Texas A&M and graduated from The University of Texas School of Engineering in Austin. He was a member of the Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a Member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners for over 50 years.
Bill mentored young engineers and served on many municipal committees within the communities he lived. He, Deborah, and five other couples founded The Village Church in Highland Village, TX, which later moved to Lewisville. A very gregarious and open man, Bill never met a stranger. He suffered for more than 20 years with Alzheimer's Dementia but was silenced for the few last years before passing on Friday to laugh and sing with his Lord God.
